2023-24 Varsity Dance Team

The Holly Varsity Dance Team had an incredible season with many highlights and accomplishments. For the first time in program history, we are now considered a co-ed sport! The team kicked off their season attending UDA camp at Oakland University in July to learn new skills and routines as well as bond as a team.

Our first competition was held in November at Lake Orion High School. The team powered through being down two dancers due to injury and still had amazing performances. The team received 6th place in Hip Hop and 8th place in Pom. They also received the Powerhouse award from the judges for displaying outstanding energy and power throughout their routines.

Our second and final competition was held at Little Caesars Arena in January where the entire team brought fire to the floor! They received a well deserved 2nd place trophy for both their Pom & Hip Hop routine! They also received several compliments from Pistons staff and dancers!

Although, due to circumstances out of our control, we were not able to attend as many competitions as we have in the past, the team had a phenomenal season! They were proud to perform their routines at all the home boys and girls basketball games, as well as their sideline routines during football season!

Our team continues to grow and evolve and we can’t wait to see what next season has in store!
