Holly Girls Swim and Dive 2019

This season was very important for the girl's swim team. Not only did they all improve their times, their skills, and their placement in the league, but their confidence spiked as a result! Throughout the season, I saw each girl grow more comfortable in the water and their enthusiasm for each swim was more evident as they tackled new challenges. Some amazing accomplishments include; senior Becca Costigan earning her state cut in the 100 breaststroke; the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays placing third at the FML end of season meet; winning half of the season league meets, as well as two non-league meets. The awards given out at the end of the season went to; Kristent Stark for Most Improved; Ryleigh Rose for Sportsmanship; Aby Bullard for Teamwork; Ella Althaver for Leadership; Lauren Costigan for Most Dedicated; and Becca Costigan for Most Valuable Swimmer.
