1978 MHSAA Class B State Champions

Behind Bill Lowande’s 18th place finish, Holly captured its second straight state championship by finishing in first place at the Class B state meet in Haslett. The Bronchos’ who also won the Flint Metro League and Class B regional titles finished with 169 points to edge Grand Rapids Christian, which came in second place with 189 points. Broncho runner, Randy Nixon finished in 19th place.
