Amy (Palmgren) Rokos graduated from Holly High School with a perfect 4.00 GPA and was Valedictorian of her graduating class. Amy played three sports at Holly High School while earning 7 varsity letters, four in Tennis and three in Volleyball. In Amy's main sport of tennis, she was a four time Flint Metro League Flight Champion and a two time Regional Flight Champion. Her career win/loss record of (99 / 53) and single season record of (32 / 7) her Senior year at #1 Singles rank her among the top Greater Flint Area high school tennis players of all time. Amy was also named Division II First Team All-State in Tennis her senior year. She was Team Captain and team MVP her Senior year, received the Coaches award, was a four-time Flint Metro League Scholar Athlete, four-time State Bank - Athlete of the week and Flint Journal Athlete of the Week in 2003.

Amy also played Varsity Volleyball for three years. She was the Team's Setter her Junior and Senior years. Her three-year Volleyball career highlights include: 4,388 Sets - 98% playable, amassing 1,373 Assists (Amy's Assists her Junior and Senior years represented 80% of the team's total). On the service line, Amy had 976 Serves of which 94% were in play and 122 were Aces. She was a two-time Flint Metro All League Selection, Oakland County All-Region Selection her Senior year, three-time Flint Metro League Scholar Athlete and three-time State Bank - Athlete of the week.

Amy also excelled in the classroom. She graduated with a perfect 4.00 and was Valedictorian of her class. She was a member of the Student Council and Treasurer her Junior year, National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
Amy received the following academic awards: R.H. Bravender Memorial Mathematics Award, Academic High Honors, Academic All-State Honorable Mention, Mathematical Association of America - Honorable Mention, Drexel University Dean's Scholarship, Michigan Tech - Board of Control Scholarship and the SBC Foundation Scholarship Award.

Amy went on to play four years of college tennis at Michigan Tech. Her 20 career wins at #1 singles ranks the 6th most in MTU school history. Amy and her doubles partner's 23 career wins at #1 doubles ranks the 5th most in MTU school history. She had a college career win/loss record of 47/30 in singles and win/loss record of 49/33 in doubles. Amy was a four-time All-GLIAC selection and named "Most Improved" her Freshman year, "Most Valuable Player" her senior year, Team Captain her Junior & Senior years, three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete, two-time Academic All-American and was recognized with the 2007 GLIAC Commissioner's Award given to student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and on the fields of play.
Amy graduated from Michigan Tech in 2008, Summa Cum Laude (4.00 GPA) with dual Bachelor of Science Degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering. Amy was a member of the Michigan Tech Chapter of "The Society of Women Engineers" and their President her Junior year. In 2006, Amy was named a "Woman of Promise" by the Electrical and Computing Engineering Department, which is given annually to the one woman who has demonstrated academic achievement, campus and community leadership, good citizenship and creativity. In 2008, Amy was recognized with the Provost's Award for Scholarship which is given to a senior, school-wide, who best represents student scholarship and is considered excellent not only by academic standards, but also for participation in research, scholarship activity, levels of intellectual curiosity, creativity, and communication skills.

Amy currently resides in Lowell Michigan with her husband Kyle and three children, Nicholas, Audrey and Lily. Amy is employed by Performance Software, in Grand Rapids, as a Senior Project Engineer. Amy remains active in "The Society of Women Engineers" where she is currently President of the Western Michigan Chapter. Amy stays active athletically by participating in as many Triathlon, 5K and 10K events that she can fit into her busy schedule. Amy also helps coach her son's baseball team and works with her children on their tennis skills.
