2008 Male Athlete of the Year

Christian was a three-sport athlete…football, wrestling and track & field during his career at Holly and earned nine varsity letters.

Christian was a varsity wrestler four years and his teams won the FML wrestling title twice, the MHSAA district twice and the MHSAA regional title once. The wrestling team was top eight in the state his freshman year.

Christian earned league honors in all three sports:

--In football, FML Honorable Mention defensive end

--In wrestling, 2nd team FML 215 lbs.

--In track & field, FML Honorable Mention 4 x 100

He is a great example for our younger athletes. He has proven that hard work will pays off when you look at his accomplishments this year. He has received honors in all of his sports and has been given the title of leader by his teammates. “
