Dawn Supercznyski, our varsity volleyball coach stated, “Lauren was the heart and soul of our volleyball team and led us to every single victory. She is not only one of the best volleyball players I have run across but she has something more, something special. Lauren has a way of bringing a team together. For instance, were down 10 points one game while our opponent was on point 23 and ready to win the match. Lauren motivated every single girl on our team to dig deep down, and give it everything they had to win but most importantly made them believe we could win. Lauren knew it had to be a team effort and she could not accomplish it on her own…we did end up winning that game. To sum it up Lauren is not only an outstanding volleyball player but also an exceptional team player with a great attitude towards volleyball but most importantly life”.

Additional awards and honors earned by Lauren include: Flint Metro League January female athlete of the month, the Flint Area Kiwanis January female athlete of the month, the Holly Kiwanis Outstanding female athlete award and was a MHSAA scholar athlete nominee.
