2006 Male Athlete of the Year

Andre’ was a three-sport athlete…football, basketball and track…during his career at Holly. He earned eight varsity letters and maintained a 3.11 cumulative GPA. He was chosen as captain for each of these teams during his senior year.

Andre’ excelled in football. He was named State Bank/Tri-County Times “Athlete of the Week”, all-league offensive guard and team MVP. He was also named Offensive Lineman of the Year with a blocking percentage of 91%. Andre’ was honored when he received the Charles Sackrider award…an award given to an outstanding football and basketball player and named after a great Holly coach. Coach Millhouse stated “Andre’ is an outstanding athlete. Not only will his athletic ability, but his leadership be sorely missed”.

Andre’ was master of the shot and discus in the springtime.

Andre’ was a wonderful young man. His parents, coaches, and the community of Holly were certainly proud of his accomplishments. In addition, Andre' received awards in Advanced Conditioning class and Photograpy. Andre’ was the yearbook editor. He was actively involved in his church youth group. Andre’ assisted often as the voice of the Bronchos at many middle school football and freshman basketball games.
