Rob Fiorillo ran Track for four years at Holly HS and then four years at the University of Michigan.

While running for HHS, Rob captured many titles.

• Flint Metro League –
110 and the 300 hurdles both his junior and senior years

• Oakland County meet –
JR - 110 hurdles champion 2nd in the 300 hurdles.
SR -110 and 300 hurdles champion

• Indoor State Meet
SR - Champion in the 60 hurdles

• MHSAA Regional Meet
JR - 2nd in both 110 and 300 hurtles
SR - Champion in both events

• MHSAA State Finals
JR - 3rd in the 110 and 6th in the 300 hurdles
SR - Champion in the 110 and 2nd place in the 300’s

Rob still holds our high school record.

In 2008, while at the University of Michigan, Rob was a Big Ten Champion. His best college times were 52.54 in the 400m hurdles, 14.47 in the 110m hurdles and 8.14 in the indoor 60m hurdles.

Additional accolades include:
• 4 time Academic All Big Ten
• 2009 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner

Rob graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors of Kinesiology in Movement Science and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant into the Air Force. He originally entered the Air Force as a C-130 navigator but elected to go back to school to become a nurse. Now, Captain Rob Fiorillo is working as a flight nurse doing medical evacuations. He is stationed at Pope Army Airfield in North Carolina. Rob has been deployed 3 times, twice to Afghanistan and once to Qatar. He will deploy again to Qatar in May. Before this assignment, Rob was a dive nurse, as well as a post surgical cardiac nurse, both at Travis Air Force base in California. The most notable awards/medals he has received included the Air Medal, a Meritorious Unit Award, two Commendation medals and an Achievement Medal.
